Lobbies Rework & Mirror Park Updated

Lobbies Rework

We've rebuilt the lobbies system as well as the welcome experience for new players with both major & minor improvements, fixes and other quality of life changes.

Key Changes

  • Direct Selection: You can now do /lobby and select a lobby directly.
  • Teleport Points: Component to selecting a lobby, you can now choose from different preset teleport points to make traveling easier.
  • Spawn Island Removed: We have removed the old Spawn Island to streamline the entry process.
  • Gang Training: Gangs now have access to their own private training lobby.

Training Lobbies

The /traininglobby command mechanics remain similar (usage: /traininglobby <id>).

  • It will send a notification to the target with instructions.
  • Upon accepting, it will switch their lobby and teleport them to the trainer automatically.

New Welcome Experience

The new welcome screen provides members with easy info, keybinds, tips and other information.

  • It detects if you aren't in the Discord.
  • Gives you the option to join and instantly refresh permissions without relogging.

Mirror Park

A new Mirror Park rework has been added, replacing the central lake with a more roleplay-based environment suited for community interaction.

Other Fixes & Changes

  • Turf Wars: Added initial turf war integrations for street gangs (clocking in now shows active turf wars for your gang).
  • State Fixes: Fixed an issue with blindfold/ziptie/cuff states not resetting in some situations.
  • Optimization: Added back moving coroner/hospitalised players into separate lobbies for performance.
  • Weapons: Fixed some incorrect weapon labels.
  • AutoMod: Fixed issue with automoderation flags regarding chat interactions.
  • CaliGarage: Fixed an edge case bug with the garage system.
  • Visuals: Brought back old thermal colours (pending feedback on whether to keep).
  • Interactions: Fixed bug where undragging didn't occur if you seated someone and they got back out.
  • Hospital: Fixed hospital release point causing players to spawn at the old El Burro location.
  • LEO Commands: Added /leowarn for LEO command members.
  • Sync: Fixed some issues with ally blips / gang allies not syncing properly.
  • Map: Removed Vespucci noodle shop due to map conflicts.
  • Clothing: Added new vest models for LEO including breacher, patrol, swat, etc.
